A romantic fairy tale for adults, with some spanking.

A man who's been trained to show no mercy finds a woman who can stand up to him and open his heart up to love.

 The Heart of The Beast

My Beast is not an ogre or a monster, at least not on the outside. He is young, and handsome, and utterly ruthless. He has been trained that to show any mercy or compassion will make him vulnerable. He is fearless and intolerant.

My Beauty has seen it all; her father murdered, her mother ill and in rags, her family impoverished. Through all this she has had the strength keep her kind and loving nature intact. She is brave and patient.

The Beast wants to hang her brother for something he did not do. Beauty goes to bargain with the Beast to save him. She offers her virgin body but that’s not enough for the Beast--he’ll hang her brother and take her anyway. So she offers him something he’s never had: A woman’s love and devotion.

Intrigued, he takes her up on her offer, but keeps trying to find ways to force her into breaking her word. She stands fast, and slowly shows him how to love and be loved.

In the scene on the cover, she is standing, defiant, as she barters for her brother's life with her body. The Beast wants to humiliate her, to break her spirit as he orders her to disrobe. He tells her a servant will take her to his chambers where he will come to bed her after hanging her brother. She falls to the floor sobbing, but still manages to wrest a bargain from The Beast. She will leave her family, never to see them again and live with him, seeming loving and obedient, until he tires of her. When he tires of her, he tells her, he will do what he wants with her, even give her to his men or kill her. This is a tough man to love, and an even tougher man to teach how to give love in return. Beauty has to use all of her nerve and her wits to find The Heart of The Beast.
